FAQs

How much do you charge for bookkeeping?

Rates for Monthly Bookkeeping begin at $350/month. Rates for one-time Clean-ups begin at $750. Because no two business are the same, pricing will vary based on the size and needs of your business. I take into consideration volume of transactions, number of accounts needing reconciliation, and complexity of your finances.

When is the best time to hire a bookkeeper?

The best time to hire a bookkeeper is before you become desperate for one. Keeping your business finances organized is vital to your business growth. If the idea of maintaining your books makes you feel stressed, nervous, or irritated, or if you simply don’t have the time you need to keep things organized, it’s time to hire a bookkeeper.

What are your contract terms?

Monthly bookkeeping is always a month-to-month agreement. While I do have my clients sign an engagement letter, agreeing to the work being done, I don’t lock anyone into lengthy contracts.

I just started my business, so you probably can’t help me yet.

Congratulations! Starting a new business is exciting and empowering! I love helping new businesses get their finances sorted at the beginning of their journey. If you have been in business less than a year, I would love to talk about your bookkeeping process and help you set up good habits that will have your business thriving!

Can you file my business taxes?

No. I am not a tax preparer at this time. However, I can help keep your bookkeeping file clean and organized, saving you time and money when you take it to your preparer or CPA.

What happens during a discovery call?

During a discovery call, I want to get to know you and your business. I will send you a few questions before our call that give me insight to your current bookkeeping practices. I will also request temporary user access to your QuickBooks file so I can better price my services for your specific business needs.
